Getting started with MileGuard
MileGuard is an iPhone app that tracks the miles on your leased car so a mileage overage bill is never a surprise. It is currently available on the US App Store.

What do I need to use MileGuard?
An iPhone and your lease details: allowance, start and end dates, and your current odometer reading. MileGuard also asks for Location access set to Always, plus Motion & Fitness, so it can log your drives in the background without you opening the app. No extra hardware, nothing to plug in, and no connected-car account.
Do I need to create an account?
No account, no sign-up, no email address.
How do I set up my lease?
Set it up once with your allowance, dates, and current odometer. MileGuard does the rest.
Do I need any hardware or a connected-car account?
No. No extra hardware, no plugging anything in, no connected-car account.
I am partway through my lease. Can I still start?
Yes. During setup, enter two odometer readings, the mileage at signing and your mileage today, and MileGuard backfills your tracker so nothing is missed. You will be fully caught up in seconds.
Can I track more than one vehicle?
Right now MileGuard tracks one vehicle at a time. Multi-vehicle support is something we are actively exploring for a future update.
Does it work in kilometers?
Yes. MileGuard works in miles or kilometers.
Is MileGuard available outside the US?
MileGuard is currently available on the US App Store only. More markets are coming, and the App Store listing is the place to check availability for your region.
